Terms of use

MemeMarket is a play-money game. Degen Points (DP) have no monetary value, cannot be bought, sold, withdrawn, or exchanged for anything of value, and are not a currency, security, or financial instrument. Nothing here is financial advice. You must be 18 or older to play.
1. What this is
MemeMarket lets you stake Degen Points on questions about publicly observable meme-coin activity — how many tokens are created, how many complete their bonding curve, and similar measurable events. Markets resolve automatically from an ingested on-chain event log.
2. Points have no value
DP are issued to you for free, exist only inside this site, and are worth nothing outside it. There are no deposits, no withdrawals, no purchases, and no cash-out path of any kind. We may adjust, reset, or remove balances — for example to correct a bug or to reverse abuse — without compensation, because there is nothing to compensate.
3. Not gambling, not investing, not advice
Because no money or thing of value can be staked or won, this is a game, not a betting or gambling service. Nothing on this site is financial, investment, legal, or tax advice, and no market outcome is a prediction or endorsement of any token. Do not make real financial decisions based on anything you see here.
4. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old. You are responsible for ensuring that using this site is lawful where you are. We may restrict access from any jurisdiction at any time.
5. How markets resolve
Every market resolves automatically from our own recorded event log — never from a live lookup at settlement time, and never by human judgement. Event timestamps are recorded when our ingestion service receives them from the upstream feed, so an event falling within a fraction of a second of a window boundary may be attributed to either side of it.
If our data feed was unavailable for more than 10% of a market's window, that market voids and every stake is refunded in full rather than resolving on incomplete data. Voids, along with the observed counts every settled market resolved on, are published on the status page.
Resolutions are final. Because the inputs are published, you can check any resolution yourself; if you believe one is wrong, tell us and we will investigate, but we do not run a dispute process.
6. Comments and other things you post
You keep ownership of what you write, and you grant us permission to display it on this site. You are responsible for it: do not post anything unlawful, anything that infringes someone else's rights, or anything covered by the prohibitions in the content policy, which forms part of these terms.
We may remove any comment and may mute an account from commenting for a fixed period. Removal erases the text; a copy is retained in a moderation record for 90 days so the decision can be reviewed or appealed, and is then deleted. Comments are not checked for accuracy before or after they appear, nothing in them is advice of any kind, and a comment cannot change how a market resolves — resolution reads our event log and nothing else.
If you believe something posted here is unlawful or infringes your rights, report it through the report button on the comment or via contact, and we will review it.
7. Fair play
Do not use bots to place bets, create multiple accounts to farm points or leaderboard position, or attempt to manipulate the underlying on-chain activity a market measures. We may void markets, reset balances, or block access in response to abuse.
8. Availability and changes
This is an early-stage product provided "as is", with no warranty of any kind. It may be unavailable, lose data, or be discontinued at any time. We may change these terms; continuing to use the site after a change means you accept it.
9. Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any loss arising from your use of this site. Since points have no monetary value, no loss of points is a financial loss.
