Content policy

Talk about the market. Argue about where the number lands, call other people wrong, be rude about a token. None of that is a problem, and we are not going to referee opinions about meme-coins.

Scams and phishing. Anything asking for a seed phrase, recovery phrase or private key; anything asking someone to connect, validate or sync a wallet; fake support offering to help in direct messages. This is the reason moderation exists here at all, and it is removed on sight.

Spam and advertising. Referral links, token shilling, the same message posted across markets, link-only posts.

Harassment.Targeting a person rather than an argument, sexual harassment, threats, or posting anyone's private information.

Illegal content, or content that would put this site in breach of the law where it is hosted.

Impersonation of this site, its operators, or anyone else.

You need an account to comment — betting does not require one, and that has not changed. An account must be at least 10 minutes old before its first comment, and any one account may post 10 comments every five minutes. Comments are capped at 1000 characters. Posting the same text twice is rejected.

Three things are caught by filter: links to known URL shorteners and impersonation domains, phrasing only ever used in wallet-draining scams, and any link at all from an account less than a day old. These are held, not deleted — the comment is stored, its author can see it marked as awaiting review, and a person decides.

Nothing else is automated. No filter reads for tone, sentiment or truth, and no comment is removed without a human deciding to remove it.

Every comment you did not write has a report button, and reporting needs an account so that the queue cannot be flooded from a fresh browser. One report per person per comment: a report is a signal, not a vote.

Reports go to a queue that a person reads. We are not going to promise you a response time we cannot keep — this is a small operation, and a service-level promise nobody staffs is worse than no promise.

For anything urgent — illegal content, a live scam, a threat to someone — see contact. Be aware that there is currently no support inbox, which is stated plainly on that page rather than hidden. Until there is one, the report button is the only route that actually reaches anyone.

Remove a comment, publish one that was held, or mute an account from commenting for a fixed period — one hour, a day, a week or a month. Mutes are always finite and never touch points, positions or the ability to bet. Losing the ability to post is not losing your account.

Every one of those actions is written to an audit trail against the moderator's name, permanently, with the reason they gave. A removal with no record of who made it is exactly what that trail exists to prevent.

You can delete your own comments at any time. Deleting erases the text rather than hiding it: the row remains as a marker so counts and reports do not dangle, but the words are gone from the database.

When a moderator removes a comment, the text is copied into the audit trail so the decision can be reviewed or appealed, and erased from the comment itself. That copy is deleted 90 days after the action. After that, what was said is gone everywhere, and only the fact that something was removed, by whom and why, remains.

One thing survives deletion, and you should know about it: a hash of the text. It is what stops someone deleting and reposting the same spam to escape the duplicate check. It cannot be turned back into the original comment.

If something of yours was removed and you think that was wrong, say so via contact within 90 days, while the record still holds what you wrote. After that there is nothing left to review, which is the trade deletion makes.

These rules will change as we find out what people actually do here. The terms of use cover the rest of the site, including the part that matters most: points have no monetary value, and nothing said in a comment changes how a market resolves.
